About Prehospital Trauma Life Support PHTLS Courses
National University’s PHTLS certification in San Diego, Fresno, and San Jose are National Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT) approved and developed in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons to promote critical thinking in addressing multi-system trauma and provide the latest in evidence-based treatment practices. PHTLS Initial and Renewal – Course Details
- Courses are offered at Kearny Mesa and Fresno campuses
- PHTLS: Prehospital Trauma Life Support, 8th Edition textbook and card are included as part of the course cost
- Course length is 16 hours for initial, 8 hours for renewal
- All courses are NAEMT approved and are taught using specified guidelines. Certification lasts 4 years
