Campus on Coronado Bay

 The Commercial Diving School located in San Diego, CA offers a wide variety of diving opportunities to train students in realistic environments. Once you have completed your training in the Dive Tank, you and your class will shift to the Water Front Campus located at the Tenth Avenue Terminal Pier located on Coronado Bay. You will spend 3 months here learning how to operate in a realistic underwater environment.  You will complete underwater projects, work with hydraulic tools, and experience the challenges of working in conditions of limited visibility on the bottom of the Coronado Bay.

Underwater welder Underwater Welding Classes

If you are interested in how to become an underwater welder, you came to the right spot. The last course in the eight-month training program is the topside and underwater welding course. This course teaches you the basics and gives you the opportunity to sharpen your skills welding in the 44,000-gallon dive tank. In addition to welding, you will also learn how to cut metal on the surface and underwater.

Cutting and Welding Classes

The cutting and welding class will teach you the basics in stick welding and oxy-acetylene cutting methods. This portion of the course provides students with the opportunity to learn how to cut and weld pipes and structures. The project students complete in this class allows them to build solid skills in cutting and welding metal.
